Thyroid and pregnancy?

I read a medical study that pregnancy increases the size of pre-existing nodules and can cause a eutharoid (normal functioning) multinodular goiter to enlarge and potentially become malignant. Does anyone have any
personal experience or knowledge regarding this?

I’m quite concerned due to me having this condition and being 5 weeks pregnant.
