Question about Colon Cleanz?

I bought Colon Cleanz at the store and on the directions it says to not use for more than 7 consecutive days or while you are menstrating. If it’s just herbs and leaves and roots then why can’t I take it for more than 7 days in a row or while I’m on my period?
