Natural remedies for fatigue?

I desperately am in need of something other than a stimulant for energy and to sustain my energy. I literally feel as if my body is slowly dying everyday and I am perpetually trying to wake up. I never once during the day don’t feel exhausted. I rely on caffeine everyday and sometimes I think it makes me MORE tired! It’s insane! I can take a nap after drinking a Red Bull. I do drink at least one a day. I know its not the best for my body, but in desperate times, it’s all I can think of. I also drink coffee. I don’t really overdo it, usually 2 or 3 at the most of any caffeinated drink and only one Red Bull. Again, it doesn’t help much at all, but it’s better than nothing at the end of the day. I want to know if I need to do a cleanse or load my system with vitamins, something like that. I have 2 kids and a job so exercise is usually not existant. However, I don’t see me doing any exercise if I can barely take care of myself and my kids and my house. I barely succeed in that everyday. Any holistic or homeopathic suggestions are welcome also. help!?!

    Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day to keep yourself well hydrated. Good fluids to drink are water, juice and milk. Dehydration is one way to suffer from fatigue so keep yourself well hydrated so you can feel energized all day long.

    Drink skim milk in a glass or add it to your cereal. Everyone loves waffles and pancakes drowned in syrup but eating too much sugary foods can cause you to feel tired all day. Try to eat cereal instead and add some skim milk to it and drink a nice tall glass of skim milk every day.

    Take 2 grams of ginseng powder every day for at least two weeks, then take a break from it for a while. You should only use ginseng if you are really feeling fatigued because too much of it can make you feel stimulating. The best kind of ginseng powder to use is Asian ginseng or you can try the other variety, Siberian ginseng. Ginseng has been known to be a great energy booster but only use it if you really need to. You can buy ginseng powder at any herb or health food store.

    Three things: l carnitine( liquid if you can get it). Its a vitamin and it boosts metabolism so it also helps with weight management, vitamib b12 which promotes focus and energy, and lastly but most important exercise. I know thag one seems counterproductive. At first it will be hard, but after each workout you will actually have a boost of energy. It will soon be an all day kind of energy. Also, if you ate eating anythong sugary, fried, or processed to hell like frozen dinners-stop. Eat a lot more fruit, veggies, and high protein foods like meat, an egg, and nuts. Protein not only gives you energy but it feeds you muscles when you exercise.

  • Exercise, light that is brighter than a regular bulb, and things like vit B protein and other vitamins are excellent way to reset your internal clock and wake you up.
