Kenneth Briggs was the American Idol contestant who was told he looked like a bush baby. His bulging eyes must be due to a medical condition. Perhaps thyroid related? Does anyone know?

I was diagnosed that i have solid nodule where my thyroid gland and the doctor said i need a surgery to remove it and it will leave a little scar on my neck … im not really convinced about the procedure is there any other way to remove this !!! maybe by pills ..! any idea

I have all the symptoms of a thyroid disorder but all the blood tests have been negative.Is it possible they are wrong and i do have a thyroid problem?
The symptoms i have are as follows ,, Swolen neck and puffy face ,, very dry brittle hair and cracked nails ,, sleepy all the time ,, and depressed there are more but these are the main ones.

ive had thyroid problems for a very long time now and i take synthroid pills everyday. i was thinking about getting a tattoo that represented thyroid but all i could find was the purple ribbon for thyroid cancer which i dont or havent had. I dont know what i could get instead…help?

I recently started using the popular work out supplement Animal Cuts. I’m curious as to if it will or will not disrupt my thyroid gland function in the future. I have done a lot of reading up on it but I haven’t found anything on thyroid problems yet.

after treating thyroid is there any chance for hair regrowth?

He told me I needed blood work for something. That something is one the lab order, but I noticed after I left that there were other things requested, too. The lab order includes creatinine, T4, and TSH.

I tried looking on the web, but I couldn’t completely answer my own question. From what I can tell, T4 is thyroxine and TSH is thyroid stimulating hormone, and both relate to thyroid function. But what about the creatinine? I read that it’s related to the breakdown of creatine in the muscles. I read that it’s used to assess kidney function. I don’t see how that relates to me, though. Any ideas?

I’m going to ask my doctor eventually, but my next appointment isn’t until the end of June and even then I won’t be seeing the same doctor. I suppose I could ask the person taking my blood when I get that done next week. Until then, any knowledge will be appreciated.
My doctor is a psychiatrist, so the appointment was to get new prescriptions. I take Lithium and the blood work was to check my Lithium levels. In case it matters, I take Trazodone, too, to help me sleep. I guess I’m overweight, too, so is that what the thyroid inquiries are for?

I recently found out that I have an underactive thyroid and I will probably be taking medication for it soon. Will being on the medication help me lose weight since having an underactive thyroid slows down metabolism?
