Colon Cleansing?

I am thinking about do a colon cleans. Does any one know anything about it. I have been doing some reading and researching on a couple of different products. But my main question is: Do I need to take a couple of days off of work for this. Am i going to be on the toliet all the time???

How should I lower my cholesterol?

I am a 20 year-old female college student. My overall cholesterol number is 197, just under 200. My good cholesterol is 51 (anything over 40 is good). My bad cholesterol is 132 (it’s supposed to be under 100).

I would like to get my cholesterol under control before it gets worse. What are some PRACTICAL things that I can do now to get it lowered? Being a college student I do not have the ability to devote 20 something hours a week to working out. Please be specific. A list of foods to avoid would be most helpful.
I am not overweight. In fact, if I lose anymore than 5 pounds I’ll be underweight.

Thyroid question?

I’ve always have a hard time losing weight and if I even looked at a muffin I gain weight. I finally asked my doctor about it and he sent me to a radiologist to get a thyroid sonogram. He just informed me that I have a 1 cm swelling? I didn’t understand what he was saying coz I was on my cell. I have an appointment with him next week to talk more. He told me I have to go to an endocrinologist. I had my blood work done too and he said my cholesterol was fine.

Does this mean I’ll finally lose weight? I did the atkins, south beach etc–went to the gym regularly– and I was really strict and I did lose some but not a lot. My friend who did the diet with me lost twice the amount of weight I did and really quickly–she practically had the same height and weight as I did. I gained the weight back twice as fast. It was horrible.

Is this bad for my health?

Okay so when I get bored I have to get up and do something. I usually start walking but when I do I start to think or day dream and end up walk one and a half hours plus. I also jump rope for long periods of time. One time I ended up walking four hours and 23 min.
