my thyroid stimulating harmone level is ( 11)?

AT FIRST when i got the results of thyroid stimulating harmone level was 8 and after a week it got 11..it got high..why was that so?what does thyroid stimulating harmone means actually?and how does it hapen?Does this means i have thyroid..please help me i am worried!!
