If you read the Great Cholesterol Con, by Dr. Kendrick, you will learn that cholesterol in and of itself is not dangerous. You need to consider a few more things.

Typically you need to have a cholesterol level where your HDL to total cholesterol is 1:3. You also need to get your triblycerides down to less than 100. You accomplish this by cutting out carbs and fructose from your diet.

Statins are harmful and no health benefit has been proven for Statin takers unless you already have heart disease.

    My cholesterol at diagnosis was:

    Triglycerides – 414
    Total Chol – 253
    HDL – 36

My Cholesterol 3 months later was:

    Triglycerides- 102
    Total Chol – 216
    HDL – 42
    LDL – 156.

A year later, I have a feeling my numbers are even better.
