Are there any natural remedies to get rid of a cold sore?

I’ve been getting cold sores nonstop for the past couple of months. It’s the first time I’ve ever had them, actually. They freaking suck. They are right in the corners of my mouth and they hurt so bad. I feel like I’m a dirty person because I have them haha but I know lots of people get them. I was just wondering instead of products like Abreva (which I know actually works it’s just so small and expensive) are there any natural remedies that I could try? My mom also said it could be a vitamin deficiency…does anyone know any more about that? Thanks for all the answers in advance! I greatly appreciate it.
