Yes, have heard of it. I think it is a good choice.

It’s a home computer course with books that you study from. If you are a person who is a self starter, they offer a very good program.

If you aren’t someone who will set their own schedule and stick to it, it would be a huge waste of money.

I know someone I see at church who is doing it, and he is pretty dedicated to doing the assignments. He says it’s a rigorous program, except that the tests aren’t so tough.

I’m not sure how one goes from completing the course to hanging out a shingle.

    Good luck and be well.

They offer a naturapathic degree in like six months and a doctorate overnight ( I am exaggerating, obviously). Most natural health care professionals laugh at a clayton degree, but it may be fun and insightful for a lay person wanting information for personal use.

It depends on what you want to learn & study.
It is an online school– and for a health science school none of those are accepted as being valid for state licenses.
If you just want to take some classes for fun & your own personal learning, you could do that, but if you want to practice herbalism or homeopathy etc, I would look into Bastyr which is highly well recognized. It is a real college.
There are probably other smaller local schools you can take short herbalism or homeopathy courses in but if you wanted to be a naturopath, Bastyr is the best in the country.

I am currently attending this school. It is NOT an on-line school. You get your books in the mail and study at your own pace. I send in my tests to be graded. The staff is very supportive to the students. You are assigned a person who will shepherd you thru all your assignments. You must pay for the whole course up front-three payments over 3 months-then you can order your books and get going. You get a magazine each month with pertinent info about the school, there is an on-line chat room, and other ways to get info. I am pleased with the school. There are an assortment of degrees and certificates for medical people with degrees already as well as people who just want to be in the know.
