Thyroid and Hair Loss?
I have a hypothyroid issue and have for a while. For a long time I was taking half of my levothyroxine pill because when I took a full pill I got horrible stomach aches, I couldn’t sleep, etc. I have noticed recently that my hair is thinning like CRAZY so about a week ago I started back on the full pill again (I’d rather be nauseous than bald). I did go and get blood tests done and I needed to up my dose (my doctor told me to take the full pill again for the next two months and come back in for blood work). I was wondering if anyone had an experience with hair loss from thyroid and how long is took for your hair to grow back in?
I’ve learn some good stuff here. Certainly worth bookmarking for revisiting.
