Estimation is a mathematical analysis that very few people have the capacity to do accurately. Some people set very tight deadlines thinking to achieve success quickly. However, they do not realize that tight deadlines are hard to meet and you can easily commit a mistake due to the pressure of meeting deadlines.

 

The third major mistake is that people often set boundaries when trying to achieve goals.

Limiting yourself does not allow you to grow in terms of experience and encouragement. Only stretching yourself over the boundaries can enrich you with the qualities necessary for achievement of success.

 

The fourth major mistake that people make is that they discuss matters of importance to achieve goal with the wrong people.

They make the whole process more confusing and at times negative comments or wrong comments can make you demotivated. Further, they tend to give wrong suggestions, which make it even more difficult for you to achieve success.

 

Last but not the least, most people do not have a proper action plan to reach the goal.

In other words, you cannot call a thing goal unless you have a plan set. Then it is merely a dream. Moreover, you cannot expect to make a plan within ten minutes. It takes time, patience, hard work and a detailed research to chalk out a plan in order to achieve a goal. In most cases, a goal remains a dream because people cannot make a well-detailed plan and execute it accurately. Executing it with integrity at the right time is important in the achievement of success.

Your dietician or doctor can inform you of the calories required by a growing child and would also recommend the exercises that are appropriate for your kids to lose weight. Parents should opt for exercises that the entire family can do together, making it a sort of fun activity for the sake of weight loss for children. Exercises should become a part of daily routine in a house. They should be done in such a way that child enjoys it and does not see it as a task. In today’s modern society technology has transformed all of our lives.  Unfortunately the effects of technology are not always beneficial.  For example children today tend to spend far more time indoors than they would have a few generations ago, largely due to the various forms of electronic entertainment available to them. 

Instead of running around and playing with friends outside, many children now spend countless hours playing video games.  This increased level of inactivity is obviously a big part of why there are

so many children who now find themselves overweight. 

Helping a child lose weight is not as simple as you might think.  Much like an adult, a child who has become overweight will need to make changes to their lifestyle in order to lose weight and maintain the weight loss.  These changes will likely include increasing their activity, and modifying their diet. 

With significant changes likely necessary for a child to successfully lose weight, it can be a difficult time for them.  It’s important to remember when helping a child lose weight that you need to be patient and understanding.

Obviously getting children to quit playing video games or spending time online will be next to impossible.  Instead of trying to eliminate what you consider to be a bad influence, you should try to encourage them to spend more time doing healthy activities.  Why not take a trip to the park or go for a ride together on bikes? Why not play catch outside or take your dogs for a walk? By providing alternatives to video games and television that are fun you can increase the chances that your child will be more receptive to change.

  Another important thing to consider when helping a child lose weight it their diet.  Once again it’s going to be impossible to cut out all of their sweets and other unhealthy foods.  Instead of trying to force a healthy diet upon them, you can look for healthy foods that they enjoy.  Offer them the option of having fresh fruit as a snack.  Substitute the whole or 2% milk in your refrigerator for skim or 1% milk.  By providing your child with options instead of trying to force them to eat healthy, you can increase the chances that they will improve their eating habits.

The key to helping a child lose weight is learning to effectively communicate with your child, and finding middle ground.  Instead of trying to force change upon them, try to encourage them to want to change.  Weight loss is not easy for anyone, and trying to get a child to understand that they need to lose weight can be difficult.  But by offering them alternatives and solutions instead of focusing upon their shortcomings, you can make their weight loss something that is positive.  Chances are that you will encounter obstacles on your child’s path to weight loss.  There will be setbacks, and things may become difficult.  But by remaining positive, by focusing upon a solution, you can help your child to lose weight and live a healthier life.

“What’s the right weight for my child?” is one of the most common questions parents have.

Seems like a simple one, but i can assure you it is not always easy to answer..

I have lost count over the years of how many times teenagers have asked me that question and it is just not a simple answer.

People have different body types, so no single number is the right weight for everyone.

Among kids the same height and age, some are more muscular or more developed than others. That’s because not all kids have the same body type or develop at the same time. In effect kids are more difficult to predict than adults.

Growth and Puberty

Not everyone grows and develops on the same schedule. During puberty, the body begins making hormones that spark physical changes like breast development in girls and testicular enlargement in boys and spurts in height and weight gain in both boys and girls. Once these changes start, they continue for several years. The average person can expect to grow as much as 10 inches (25 centimeters) during puberty before reaching full adult height.

Most kids gain weight more rapidly during this time as the amounts of muscle, fat, and bone in their bodies change. All that new weight gain can be perfectly fine — as long as body fat, muscle, and bone are in the right proportion.Chocolate Against Child Obesity

Because some kids start developing as early as age 8 and some not until age 14, it can be normal for two kids who are the same gender, height, and age to have very different weights.

It can feel quite strange for kids to adjust to suddenly feeling heavier or taller. So it’s perfectly normal for a child to feel self-conscious about weight during adolescence — a lot of kids do.

 

Rules for Healthy Diet For Healthy Kids

It can seem very difficult to find a diet that your children enjoy eating, that is also very healthy for them. When there is so much pressure to encourage your children to eat healthily, how do you get a reasonable balance between making sure they have a good diet and not getting them so obsessed with food that they will be worried about their weight? 

 

Here are some hints and tips that will hopefully help you with working out a healthy diet for kids.

1) Don’t use food as a treat.  If children consider food to be a reward for good behavior, this can turn out to be a habit for their lifetime.  You need to make sure that they see food as fuel and not a treat.  Try not to let them feel that they only get pudding as a reward for eating their dinner or other similar things, as this can turn out against you when they only want to eat sweet treats, or binge on food as rewards for doing good things.

2) Try to keep sugar in the diet at a minimum. Sugar not only rots teeth but can also cause children to put on weight if they have too much. It can be difficult, but it is often better to give children more of their main course than to give them cakes or dessert after their food. If they are still hungry then let them have a piece of fruit as this will give them a sweet treat without the fat that usually accompanies desserts.

3) Keep snacks at a minimum. Some children need snacks between meals to give them a burst of energy but you should really only give these if they are needed and not as a habit.  Good snacks include nuts, seeds and unsweetened yoghurt.  If you are out and about they could snack on fruit bars or fresh fruit.

4) Don’t give in to advertising.  A lot of children will want to eat foods that they see on TV or that their friends have.  It can be very difficult to not give in to their demands for the latest items.  However, try to think of their long term health and how it can affect their behavior if you give in to what they want all the time.  Just occasionally buy them the things they want, but make sure that they aren’t eating unhealthy foods all the time.

5) Show a good example. If you are expecting your children to eat all their vegetables you will need to make sure that you eat them too. Children copy the behavior of the people around them and so they will need to see you eating well too.

6) Eat a good variety of foods. Unhealthy food is fine every once in a while as long as there are good healthy foods eaten in between. So make sure that the diet has plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and salads mixed with proteins such as beans and lentils and complex carbohydrates like wholemeal pasta and wholegrain bread.
