High thyroid level?

My doctor told me I have a high thyroid level. All I want to do is sleep. I’m having a scan on the 12th and 13th to see what is wrong. My question is: Has anyone had their hyperthyroidism treated? If so, do you have more energy or are you still tired? I’d love to hear your story. Thanks!
