Any natural “remedy” for colds?

hi…im not really feelin well (cold/flu), and cant really sleep coz its making me so uncomfy, any natural remedy or health tips to ease this? i really wanted to take cold tablets but i cant coz im under other medication and it’s kinda dangerous if i take it with it…
Hm, just another curiosity, erm, when u have a cold& flu, do u always take a medicine for it or not at all?
