Create Confident Kids

Although nobody gets a parenting manual or bible in the delivery room-it is our duty as parents to try to

make our kids as well rounded, happy and confident as possible.

It is a lot easier to bring up great kids than it is to try and fix problems caused by bad parenting, when our

kids have become adults.

Of all the jobs that we prepare ourselves for in our adult life the job of parent is the one we leave most to chance.

I think that most of us feel it will be something that will come naturally and just hope for the best.

I remember so clearly when I had my children at the tender age of 40 and 41. At that time I had classified myself as “successful” and was working as a Senior Surgical Manager in a large multinational medical Company.

I was “flying high” so to speak and just assumed that I would carry out the role of parenthood just like I had approached my career

Boy was I in for a huge wake up call…. And boy was I unprepared!

Now some years later and with many bumps along the way my two girls are in their final years at school and both seem happy and focused.

At this point I am at liberty to Quote Murphy´s law ……

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something!!

Today in my career I  coordinate the Health program at a college and am responsible for the personal development of too many teenagers!

My education on the wonderous ways of teenagers continues and nothing surprises me. I just impart my new found wisdom  on my blog and if it helps any distressed parent then it is all worthwhile.

With this short article today I have included a link for an ebook entitled  Confident Kids .

It is a short book that is easy to read and if the information insight turns on any light bulbs then great have this on me.

I have plenty more in store!
