    I wouldn’t think it was that hard to get 5 a day, in fact, I think it’s better to get AT LEAST 5 a day. But yes, it is pretty important for the health benefits. The vitamins and minerals found in fruit and veg boost our immune system, keep our skin healthy, help our body systems function, etc. Plus, fruit and veg is good for the digestive system due to the fibre found in them – which isn’t found in fruit juice.

    Yes it is important, it is part of a healthy, well balanced diet to have 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetables every day.

    A glass of orange juice does not even count as a full serve of fruit as it is only juice.

    Well, what is important is to give your body all the nutrients it needs. If you don’t like eating fruits and veggies, just take a multivitamin supplement every day. It will have the same effect.

    However, if you are bloated or constipated, try to eat your 5 a day. Your stomach and colon need fiber.

  • It depends if you care about your health or not I suppose. Read about some of the nutrition info behind the 5 a day recommendation and make up your own mind. Michael Pollan is a good place to start.
