Fit over 50
Now this subject rings a few bells in my head?
I have probably been involved with some kind of exercise for as long as I can remember.
In fact I did a second degree in Sports science and then worked as an Exercise Physiologist for a time in a gym in S.Africa. I have been there among the exercise equipment,doing the classes and teaching on the weight loss programs.
This was a while back in my career in my 20s and early 30s and right now I made a decision [4 weeks back] to join a weight loss and fitness program at A gym close by. I joined to support my 18 year old daughter and I try to keep my mouth shut in the lectures!
At the tender age of 60 I am now being trained by these young fitness coaches at least 30 years younger than me. It got me thinking that the physical training needs of the over 50s is nowhere to be seen!
