How to get rid of back acne scars fast at home

Severe back acne can be as traumatizing and a painful experience. Sometimes it bleeds and sticks to your clothing and cannot allow you to lean comfortably. It can be cured by natural remedies or medication. But in most cases, it leaves ugly scars. Once the acne heals, you may still find marks and scars left behind. Although there are many over the counter remedies in the market, natural remedies have been found to be more effective and safe in fading away the scars. Below are some tried and tested home remedies to get rid of back acne scars
Lemon juice
Lemon juice is natural bleach that helps to fade skin blemishes and scars. Simply take a lemon and cut it. Squeeze the juice out into a container. Wash the affected area of your skin and pat dry with a clean towel. Using a piece of cotton wool or a towel, dab the skin with the lemon juice and allow it to sit for 15 minutes. Wash off and cover the area from direct sun exposure.
Tomato pulp
Tomato pulp is another effective remedy. Tomatoes are acidic in nature and act as natural bleach. It also contains vitamins A, C and E which are necessary for the regeneration of skin tissue. You can eat plenty of tomato and also apply it on your skin. Simply slice a tomato and rub the inside on the affected area. Rinse after 15 minutes.
Sandalwood and rosewater remedy
Sandalwood is known for its aromatic and nerve soothing characteristics. It also has anti-bacterial properties that will kill the germs on the surface of your skin and also help in the healing process. Rosewater is known for its anti-inflammatory property and its ability to leave a soothing cooling effect on skin. To use this remedy, mix some sandalwood powder with rosewater to form a paste. Apply the paste and leave it overnight.
Use garlic
Garlic contains powerful anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help in re-growth of skin. It also contains sulfur compound that works well to eliminate scars as well as preventing relapse of acne bouts. Take a garlic clove and cut it into half. Gently rub the inside on your scars. You can also crush some cloves, mix them with water and apply the paste on your back. Let it sit for 15 minutes before washing off.

Why walking does NOT burn fat (do THIS instead)…

Seems every doctor and wristband gadget-maker is trying to get us all to walk more.

But there’s a dirty little secret those expensive gadget-makers DON’T want you to know:

Walking IS great for health and reducing stress… but it’s terrible for fat loss as the study below shows. And it’s especially ineffective at eliminating that stubborn flab that clings to our worst trouble spots.

It just doesn’t deliver enough of a metabolic stimulus to get your fat burning hormones working!

PS { I have been walking for years and it was only when I went back to gym 2 months ago that I lost fat. …….6 inches in first month to be precise}

Yes, when you walk a large % of calories burned is fat. But because walking is so low intensity, the OVERALL amount of calories burned is low, so the total amount of fat burned barely registers.

Plus, the moment you stop walking, your metabolism goes back to sleep and you stop burning calories. So unless you have 3-5 hours a day to walk 10,000 – 20,000 steps or more, that’s not gonna cut it!

Wouldn’t it be better if your metabolism kept burning fat for 24 – 48 hours after your workout?

And instead of 3-5 hours of monotonous walking, wouldn’t it be better if you could generate this extended fat burning effect after just 15 minutes of activity?

I’ll show you precisely how in just a second, but first…

Why Walking Stinks for Fat Loss (and What Can Get You DOUBLE the Fat Loss Results)…

A recent study published in BMC Sports Science, Medicine and Rehabilitation compared walking to a somewhat unusual metabolism-stimulating activity. Check out these amazing results:

The metabolism group lost 95% MORE body fat (11.9% vs. 6.1%) AND shrunk their waist 10 times more (6% vs. .6%) compared to walkers. So not only did they lose more fat, but their body shape improved.

But it gets better. The metabolism group also increased their V02max by 2,000% more (16.8% vs. .6%).

V02max indirectly measures your overall ability to burn fat. The higher the number, the more fat you burn at rest. So those in the metabolic group became better at burning fat all day, every day!

There’s Just One MAJOR Problem…

Here’s my problem with this study: the group doing the metabolism-stimulating exercise was doing BOXING-related activities — like footwork drills, punching bags, jumping rope and so on.

I don’t know about you, but all that punching, jumping and complicated, pounding footwork isn’t something my body can do week-in-and-week out.

Plus, these folks were doing this for 50 minutes 4 times a week. Sure, that’s A LOT better than 3-5 hours of walking every day, but still a HUGE time commitment.

Fortunately, there’s a new protocol that gets you all the fat burning benefits of this “metabolic boxing” routine, but in just 15 minutes, 3 times a week.

Unlike walking, it keeps your fat burning hormones fired up and burning fat for up to 24-48 hours after. And it’s been shown to be particularly effective at removing unwanted fat from trouble spots.

It’s something that anybody can do, at any age, doesn’t require you go to the gym, punch any bags, push heavy tires or get your feet tangled while jumping rope. In fact, no equipment is needed at all.

==> Stimulate Your Fat Burning Hormones in 15 Minutes with THIS

By all means, keep on walking and enjoy the relaxing, life-extending benefits. But if your goal is to lose fat and re-shape your body shape, the smart choice is to do this for 15 minutes, 3 times a week:

Do I have Nasal Polyps?

Do you suffer from recurrent colds and flu?

If yes, you may have nasal polyps.

Nasal Polyps, also known as Sinus Polyps, are non-cancerous growths in the nose or in the sinuses (the canal behind your cheekbone).

The cause and symptoms are similar to those of cold and flu; however, the symptoms caused by nasal polyps will never get better. You may therefore have a persistently blocked or stuffy nose, and you may experience mucus running down the back of your throat.

In addition, large polyps interfere with breathing and this can cause chronic headaches due to lack of oxygen. You may also find yourself yawning a lot, and experience daytime fatigue, even after a proper night’s sleep. You will notice that you don’t smell or taste as good as you used to.

If what I have written above rings a few bells with you then you will be interested to read a series of articles I will be uploading to http://www.myhealthbusiness.info over the next week .

These articles will cover all the information you need on Nasal Polyps and most importantly how to get rid of them!

What are Nasal Polyps

Nasal polyps are one of the few nose issues that cause serious inflammation, problems with breathing and block the passages and airways in the nostrils. They are essentially fleshy swellings, and can develop in the lining of the sinuses or the nose.
Nasal polyps may vary in size.

They can be small and unnoticeable, and cause no problems, but they can also be large and block the airways in the nose. They also vary in color, from yellowish brown to pink. Their shape is usually in the form of a teardrop. Once they start growing, nasal polyps take the form of a grape.

Diagnose nasal polyps
Once you start noticing symptoms (rummy nose, swelling around the eyes, inflammation in the nostrils, trouble breathing and similar), you should visit a doctor for a proper diagnose. There are few ways doctors can diagnose your nasal polyps. Those include:
– Endoscopy, or inserting an endoscope in the nostrils. Endoscope is a tube with a small camera at the end, and can record everything in the nose, including nasal polyps.
– Computer tomography scan is used as a last resort, since it emits radiation
– Skin prick allergy test is performed when small drops of agents are pricked into the skin. The agents that usually cause allergies are pricked into the upper back or on the forearm. If there are signs and symptoms of allergy after 15 minutes, the test is positive and you are diagnosed with nasal polyps.
– Cystic fibrosis is a test performed for young children. The test measures the amount of chloride and sodium in the sweat of the child.

Prevention and precaution
The best way to avoid getting nasal polyps is to do as much as possible to prevent them. There are many things you can do to prevent nasal polyps.
First of all, improve your immune system, as polyps usually develop due to chronic infections such as flu, cold and other sinus infections and respiratory illnesses.
Another way to prevent nasal polyps is to get plenty of sleep, and allow the body to rest so it can fight illnesses and infections. Seven or eight hours of sleep per day is recommended, and sometimes even naps help.
Balanced diet is the key to keeping the immune system healthy and providing enough nutrients to fight the illness. Try to intake more lean protein, wheat carbs, non fat dairy products, fruits and vegetables and unsaturated fats.
Exercise is another way to improve the immune system. The more you exercise, the healthier you are. As a general rule of thumb, try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise per day, five days a week. Exercising speeds up the metabolism and boosts the immune system. You need both cardio and strength exercises.
Last but not least, increase you vitamin C consumption. You need around 500 or 1000 mg per day to keep your immune system strong. Lack of vitamin C results in weaker immune system one that is vulnerable to illnesses.

How to get rid of back acne in a week

Acne is often considered as a condition that only affects teenagers due to hormonal imbalance. However, this is not the case.

Depending on lifestyle choices, back acne can affect both adults and teenagers equally.

It does not choose any particular age, race, sex or geographical location. This type of acne is usually characterized by pimples or blackheads and can be quite painful. It is however possible to treat it.

With strict adherence to certain lifestyle changes, your back acne can become history in just under a week. Here’s how to do it;
1.Drink plenty of water
This is the simplest way to get rid of acne in a week. Water has the ability to flush toxins out of our bodies through either sweating or urination. You should aim for 8 glasses of water per day. By the end of the week you are sure to notice great improvements on your skin’s appearance.

The advantage of this is that it not only works on the acne but your whole body benefits.
2.Wear loosely fitting clothes
Avoid wearing tight or restrictive clothing such as scarves around the back area. You should wear loose clothes made from natural fibers that will allow for air circulation. Restrictive clothing may suffocate the already suffering area of the skin and lead to poor elimination of toxins.
3.Avoid touching your back
As part of your regime, try to avoid constantly touching the affected area or trying to squeeze the pimples. This will further aggravate the situation and worsen the break out. This is especially so if you touch the skin with dirty hands. This will only serve to deposit more germs on the area lead to making the pimples bigger or causing them to multiply at a faster rate.
Eat healthy foods
Eat a healthy balanced diet and avoid junk food. You should aim for foods that are rich in vitamins A, C, D and E. these vitamins are highly beneficial to the skin in that they help the skin to heal faster and regenerate new cells. Therefore as the acne heals, the skin will regenerate at a fast rate and enable the scars to fade quickly. Avoid foods rich in trans-fats such as chocolate and fries.
Cleanliness
Observe good hygiene. You should gently clean the affected area twice a day with antibacterial soap. While cleaning, take extra care not to over-scrub the skin as this may lead to further irritation of the skin.

Are Weight Loss Medications Right For You

You and your doctor ultimately will decide if weight loss medications are right for you. But before you even discuss the option with your doctor, you can do a lot of research on your own and make some important decisions. You’ll want to look into the history of each medication and read about others who have taken it. Look up side effects and any serious cases that have resulted from people taking the pills. You’ll also want to consider whether or not you can just lose weight without medication.

If you’re considering weight loss medications at all, it’s probably because you’ve tried many other ways to lose weight. You’ve dieted and exercised and still the weight won’t come off. Maybe it does come off at first but stops, and you can’t seem to keep losing. You may have even tried dangerous things like starvations diets, excessive exercise, and weight loss drugs not prescribed by your doctor.

If you have, make a promise to yourself now to only lose weight in a healthy and safe way. While that can include weight loss medications your doctor prescribes, you still must be aware of what’s in the medicine you’re putting into your body. Some similar medicines that were prescribed widely in the past ended up carrying scary and dangerous side effects that they didn’t know about until it was too late. Sometimes a drug was hyped as the newest, best weight loss drug. And so many people heard about it that patients were asking their doctors for it by name.

Then people started to get sick—and in some cases, people died—prompting them to recall the weight loss medications completely. The best way to avoid a scenario like this is to avoid any brand new medicines. People like new things. The newest pill is something that gives them hope that this time it will work, and this time they won’t gain the weight back. But if you’re one of the first to use the medication, you’ll also be one of the first to have side effects from it outside of a clinical testing situation.

Opt for weight loss medications that have been on the market for some time without causing health scares in the people who’ve taken them. Even your doctor may recommend a new drug that’s showing great results for people. Just calmly explain your reason for wanting to avoid that drug for a while, and he or she will probably understand. Even though these drugs go through years of clinical trails, sometimes the dangers don’t seem to show until they’re more widely used.

Look at your dieting past and really ask yourself if you’re capable of losing weight without drugs. Only you know how hard you’ve really tried and how dedicated you’ve been to your diet and exercise program in the past. So only you can really judge whether or not weight loss help is really necessary. If you think it is, then be sure you fully understand the potential risks of the weight loss medications.

Back Acne…do you have it?

Hi

If you have back acne then you are very aware of the embarrassment you feel when your back is exposed in a public place. In fact people with back acne if they are female will never wear low back dresses and when summer comes along it is annoying when it persists and just will not go away. In addition to the annoyance and embarrassment back acne can be a painful experience. Sometimes it bleeds and sticks to your clothing and cannot allow you to lean comfortably. People think  that back acne effects only teenagers but that is not true, it effects adults as well

The good news is that there are natural remedies that will cure this acne and these are remedies that work well. Forget all the creams, drugs or over the counter medication.

Benefit From Different Healthy Eating Diets

healthy eatingLooking at all the different healthy eating diets can get confusing. One diet might say you should never eat bread, while another diet says that whole grain bread is a healthy food. One diet says to avoid fat wherever possible, and yet another diet says that some fat is really good for you. They can’t all be right, so how do you know which diet is really the healthiest? How do you know which to choose for your own healthy eating plan?

The truth is that the healthy eating diets that are most popular today might not contain the answers. Many people eat a very healthy diet without following a popular diet plan. They use parts of several different diets to make up the one that works best for them.

A low-carb diet might be very healthy for someone who tends to have high blood sugar and is a little insulin resistant. But that diet might be so low in carbohydrates that it leaves the person feeling deprived. Some very low carbohydrate diets can even make you feel ill after a few days of eating only fat and protein.

Many healthy eating diets aren’t necessarily low in carbohydrates, but they focus on only a certain type of carbohydrate. “Good” carbohydrates like oatmeal and whole grains that have a lower effect on blood sugar might be perfectly all right for a borderline diabetic. But other parts of those diets that allow for too much fat or require more meat intake than a person wants make the diet unsuitable.

Here’s where you can vary from these healthy eating diets and come up with a good compromise on your own. A person in that situation might avoid most carbs like flour and refined sugar, but incorporate some whole grains and slow-digesting carbohydrates. This might help the person achieve a good balance that is best for them.

A very low-fat diet might be one person’s choice, while another feels that the lack of good fats isn’t healthy. They might also feel hungry and deprived on a very low-fat diet. A higher-fat diet plan might not be ideal either, if most of the fats are animal or saturated fats—most very low-carbohydrate plans are higher-fat, for instance. The best thing to do would be to take the healthiest points from both of those diet plans, and maybe a few others, and make up your own healthy eating diets.

Most of the diets you’ll find in books or those popularized by celebrities are, for the most part, healthy diet plans. But when part of a diet makes it unpleasant for you to stick to—things like no caffeine or coffee ever, no sweet treat at any time—then it’s very easy to just ignore all the good points of the diet and cheat. If you’ll choose the parts of different diets that work best for you, however, you can combine them. By using the best parts of different healthy eating diets, you’ll have a plan you can live with.

Fit over 50

Now this subject rings a few bells in my head?

I have probably been involved with some kind of exercise for as long as I can remember.

In fact I did a second degree in Sports science and then worked as an Exercise Physiologist for a time in a gym in S.Africa. I have been there among the exercise equipment, doing the classes and teaching on the weight loss programs.

This was a while back in my career in my 20s and early 30s and right now I made a decision [4 weeks back] to join a weight loss and fitness program at A gym close by. I joined to support  my 18 year old daughter and I try to keep my mouth shut in the lectures!

At the tender age of 60 I am now being trained by these young fitness coaches at least 30 years younger than me. It got me thinking that the physical training needs of the over 50s is nowhere to be seen!

That is why this program Fit Over 50 really caught my attention and the information this over 50 fitness coach Fred Schafer places on his website really caught my attention

Fred Schafer talkes about ways to stop the “muscle  leaking” most people are unknowingly allowing to happen.

50FIT will stop this muscle leaking cold in its tracks as well as give you a ton of other cool fitness, health and wellness benefits. In fact, my belief is that you will be positively shocked at how much more incredible you look and feel in just 28 days of following the 50FIT lifestyle prescription program.
