HDL/Cholesterol Ratio?
I don’t quite understand how to do this, and would appreciate if someone could work out this problem for me so I can understand it. Whats the HDL/Cholesterol Ratio, if the HDL level is: 68 and the Cholesterol level is: 240. I would greatly appreciate it if it was in ratio form thank you!
Hi Nobody’s Perfect,
To calculate your ratio divide total cholesterol by HDL.
240 divided by 68 = 3.5
So your total cholesterol to HDL cholesterol ratio (Cholesterol:HDL) is 3.5 to 1 (3.5:1).
