I'm so nervous about going into high school at a new school? Stories on your first day plus advice?

So I’m moving and I’m going into an entirely different school (9th grade) where I’ll know absolutely no one and I mean it’s a fresh start and I like that part BUT I don’t get to visit the school before the first day because of the time I’m moving so I’ll pretty much just get thrown in there on Day 1.
A lot of people tell me I look like Ariana Grande (and I act like the character she plays so there’s my personality) and I do think I have her body type except I’m a little "larger". I don’t think I’m fat (well I didn’t but now I do while typing this haha) but my legs are HUGE. Seriously. And my hips are pretty wide.
So pretty much I have huge, huge legs (ugh seriously), fat arms and wide hips.
But my stomach is flat and stuff. I work out EVERYDAY and i drink 75 ounces of water a day and i do diet but nothing changes. I really just want to lose weight in my very muscley legs.
I’m going school shopping soooon and I’m very excited. Any tips? As i said before people tell me i look and am like Ariana Grande so I have her style.
My hair is currently ariel red but I’m going to go dye it light brown with blonde highlights in a week because reall I do not try to look or act like Ariana Grande and I don’t want to deal with the comparssion at my new school.

***My BIG worry is the first day though. Any thoughts on what I should wear? Any stories on your first day and what happened?
Thanks so much 😀

Don’t worry about your first day. It will be fine. As much as we would like to think otherwise, there really is no magic answer to weight loss. There is no well kept secret, and no mystery solution, but there are simple things you can do that will help tremendously. Eat a healthy diet of about 1500 calories a day – you do need to learn to count calories and there are tons of sites that will help you with that, as well as the labels on foods. Start keeping a record everyday of what you eat, because we all usually tend to consume more calories than we think we do. Eliminate ALL junk food, sodas, pop, sweets, fried foods, fast foods, fruit juices, and processed foods. Everyday eat fruit, veggies, a few nuts, lean meat and fish, whole grain breads and cereals, low fat dairy products. Go for a brisk 45 minute walk twice a day if you can, everyday. Climb lots of stairs. Drink plenty of water. If at all possible start a weight lifting/strength training program at a gym and get some instruction from the gym trainer. It will work. Here are a few sites that may help.

I just eneded freshman year so eveything I experienced is still fresh. I hope it helps ^_^

  • Wear a tank top (t-shirts make even the skinniest arms look larger, especially those with cap sleeves) and shorts or a skirt. You could wear a tank top dress too, that will look very cute.
Is your hair naturally red? If so, it is probably so pretty! I wouldn’t dye it! And Ariana Grande is gorgeous so if I was told I looked like her I would be quite happy 🙂
Here is my first day of high school story (I am going into my sophomore year of high school)
I was scared, but really excited. My locker wouldn’t open (and it had my lunch inside!) so I had to run to Arby’s by myself because I didn’t have any friends on the first day. But by the first or second week, I had already made friends…I promise you will too!
    Have fun…I LOVE high school!
