ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yesssssssssssssssssss. Diabetes, cholesterol, baldness, and high blood pressure are likely to be inherited than anything else. But you can prevent most of them though by eating right exercising. If you can’t prevent it all you can slow down the process of it though.

Yes it’s half diet and half genetics

yeah the level of cholesterol in your family can affect yours

  • No. The food habits that you pick up off of them will lead to you having high cholesterol. Stop eating meat. Watch the video "meet your meat." and consider you are what you eat.

  • Yea you can but that may just be a 50/50 chance. It doesn’t mean that you are going to get it, it may just give you a better chance than someone who’s family doesn’t have high cholesterol.

  • Your body produces cholesterol depending on what you eat. Your genetic makeup determines how you metabolize what you eat.

somewhat yes. high cholesterol is gained from the obsessive eating of "fatty" foods high in fats.salt & cholesterol itself.

if your family has it then you might be prone to it. most people have it in their family because they are eating the same fatty foods that cause it or they have an influence on what you choose to eat. so it just comes from the foods you decide to eat (along with how much of it you eat) and not so much by genetics. you have the power to control it.

just regulate your meals and cut back on junk food and fats like butter. there are two types of cholesterol :good and bad, so you must not avoid ALL cholesterol. it is not necessarily a bad thing but it will be if you consume too much in excess because your health overall will decrease.
