What is a natural mood swing remedy?

I’m having some mood swings that are uncontrollable. I was on medication before and don’t like the way they make me feel. Is there any natural remedies out there that help with mood swings?
I already eat right and exercise regulary including strength training and yoga plus take care of a 3 month old, running around regularly. I’m looking for a supplement for mood swings.

  • To level out your moods and lower stress and anxiety try to avoid processed sugar and foods and drinks that contain it like the plague buddy …….. i get wild headaches, nasty mood swings, horrible dreams if i have anything containing processed sugar these days ….. that includes sodas, pop, soft drinks, alcohol, icecream, chocolate, candies, cakes etc…… it is infinitely cheaper and easier to detox SLoWLy from the processed sugar sludge than to supplement with tablets et al that you don’t really know what they contain anyway….. simply halve your intake of anything you are eating that contains processed sugar the first week and halve again the second week so on until you can completely ditch it …… eat more low sugar sweet fresh fruit like watermelon, strawberries, blackberries, pears, cantalope and green fresh vegies to balance out your moods …… eat them, juice them, just get them into you ….. all rich in calcium and the green vegies are rich in both calcium and magnesium ……. so very important for healthy neural functioning, heart bone and teeth health …… if you think you really aren’t eating any processed sugar then start checking the labels on any tinned foods you eat….. because they also use sugar as a preservative and it retains and absorbs moisture….. it’s in products that you’d never even think of such as salt, peanut butter, bouillon cubes , ketchup, cream substitute for coffee ……. cream substitute can be 65 percent processed sugar compared to 51 percent for a simple chocolate bar!!!

processed icky man made nutritionally void sugar …… use raw honey to sweeten your hot drinks and as a substitute ingredient in baking …. eat some fruit if you need something sweet …. natural sugar that your body uses as a source of energy and knows what to do with …… ditch the table sugar and artificial sweetners too ….. the minute you put processed sugar in your mouth the first thing your body does is start trying to eliminate it from your system, wasting precious vitamins and minerals that you already have in store in the process ……. for it perceives it to be the junk that it is.

processed sugar …. the scurge of modern society i say.

oh, drink more fresh filtered water too and hydrate yourself properly …. you’d be amazed at how being just a little dehydrated can affect your mood and energy levels.

    peace baby

  • St. John’s Wort is excellent!

  • U don't need 2 know

A good friend to talk to

  • A good diet is key. Staying away from refined sugar and caffeine has helped me along with daily exercise of some sort-try yoga-get a beginners DVD and follow along-it’ll calm you, and even deep-breathing exercises work while I’m at work and under stress-try it. It works for me. Good luck!

  • Simple: Dark chocolate. I buy Ghirardelli’s 60% cocoa morsels, and keep a bag in my desk drawer. It does wonders for that time of the month too!

  • Kava Kava is the most commonly used natural remedy to calm you down for anxiety issues- it is a relaxer
if you feel like you are mildly depressed then St Johns wart is used. often times the two are put together very commonly used over in Europe.
