Need a natural remedy/pill to come my nerves and stop my stuttering please?

i get quite nervous when i need to do speeches and i was wondering if there was any natural remedy out there to help calm nerves in a short amount of time. when ever i talk my hands shake and i start stuttering when i talk so something that would help calm that too, thanks so much

  • Aromatherapy helps a lot.Light and airy fragrances like citrus or lavender can help soothe your nerves.

    Deep breaths.Deep breaths always calm my nerves and stop a panic attack in its tracks.

    Calm your mind.DON’T think about everything that can go wrong or everything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

    Classical/sound scape music…is always calming.

    Don’t consume caffeine before something big or else it will make you jittery.

    As far as supplements go, I take L-Theanine every time I am overly anxious.The makers are Suntheanine (they have a website or you can go to a natural health food store/vitamin shop and ask them if they sell any) it is a amino acid food for stress and anxiety.

    Chamomile tea could also help calm the nerves (not recommended for people with a ragweed allergy)

    avoid nicotine! do not smoke or drink coffee or anything with nicotine maybe even stay away from sugar. i would say alcohol is good to calm your nerves but drink its good
    unless you are not prepared you should not be nervous people tend to over estimate how much people are observing them its called the spot light effect just think of how you see others when they’re giving a speech

  • Dear Gabriel, there is no medical treatment for stuttering, because it is depend on yourself. In order to stop you always like that (stutter), ..please speak slowly,..one word by one word. Write down all you want to talk about in speeches…relax, think of something make you happy, think your happiest times, and do not let that "stutter things" ahead of you…you must overcome your nervousness, ok? Speak slow but sure, so people will not get bore or tired….do not worry,…A cup of warm/hot cocoa before bed, will slowly calm you down step by step, and see after 3-6 weeks and please email me and see how you go, ok? This is probably not the answer you are looking for, but I have known several hypnotherapists who have had great succcess with curing stuttering. The most prominent is Gerald Kein, director of the Omni Hypnosis Center, in Florida.

    In some cases, curing stuttering is fairly straighforward and simple. While a client is under hypnosis, the hypnotherapist repeats suggestions to relax the mind and body. In particular, the parts of the body used in speech are relaxed, and suggestions are given that the client no longer has a problem with stuttering. Under hypnosis, you can picture yourself speaking calmly and confidently in front of an audience—without stuttering.

    In more complicated cases, the client is hypnotized and led back to a very early time in his life when he first started to stutter. It is too complicated to discuss all the details, but the client learns to resolve that early childhood event when he started to stutter. Once that event is resolved, the client will no longer be plagued by stuttering. Some hypnotherapists have been trained in this kind of "age regression" form of hypnosis, while others have not.
