What type of thyroid condition? Selenium – 200mcg a day (around 4 brazil nuts) – lowers Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis (autoimmune hypothyroidism) antibodies around 40% in 3 months alone. A gluten free diet also halts antibody production.

There is no cure for hypo or hyper thyroid disease. It is something that needs so be supported daily with medication.

I have Hashimoto’s disease and will be on medication for the rest of my life because it means that my thyroid is dying. Hypothyroid means your thyroid is not producing enough thyroid hormones and hyper means that your thyroid is producing too much hormone.

  • Ayurveda is an outdated hoax treatment that has no use apart from extracting money from people desperate for a cure. There is evidence that some herbal ‘drugs’ can interact negatively with prescription medicine.

    Avoid.

There most probably is a treatment for thyroid in Ayurveda, but it most probably doesn’t work, and it may not even be safe. Seek the evidence.
