Does dietary cholesterol mix with the cholesterol that our body makes for our cells ?

How can a cholesterol that was made by something other than our own body do any thing in our body after it was cooked or frozen and reheated or canned or processed so that it can be stored for long periods without spoiling or mixed with preservatives , when eaten ? Our body makes cholesterol that is unique to us and it is used every day of our life by every cell and organ in our body . So how can we eat a foreign cholesterol and think it is identical to the one our body makes ?
Armondo , acai and soy are just marketing hypes , soy fills you with estrogen and acai is just another berry they are trying to make money with so they are claiming it does a whole lot of things to benefit humans but so far there has not been anything but hype
alt. heal… , Clinical trials have been bought and paid for and even been published before and there are never any retractions printed after the results have been proven wrong Cholesterol is not bad for you and the level of 200 they placed on good health is too low

Cholesterol is cholesterol, whether it is the cholesterol in our body or cholesterol ingested from plant or animal cells. Cholesterol is an important component of all cell membranes and is the precursor for all steroid hormones like Estrogen, Testosterone and Cortisol. Cholesterol is also a precursor for bile acids, which are important for the absorption of fat and fat soluble vitamins. Cholesterol can be absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract from animal or plant cells or be reabsorption of bile acids. Cholesterol is also synthesized from the liver via the HMG CoA reductase pathway. ALL cholesterol is the same whether it is made by the liver or absorbed through the GI tract. Cholesterol serves many vital functions, but in excess it is known to be associated with atherosclerosis in combination with other factors such as endothelial damage (damage to the blood vessel walls.) The amount of evidence demonstrating that elevated LDL (bad cholesterol) and low HDL (good cholesterol) is associated with atherosclerosis and therefore heart attacks, strokes, AAA, etc. is overwhelming. Do your own research.

your reasoning is off. The internal and external cholesterol is treated the same way by the body. If this were not so then all of the many thousands of research papers and clinical trials that show that eating cholesterol is bad for the heart and arteries would ALL be wrong. Are you so learned that you can dismiss all this research because it SEEMS to you to be illogical? Table sugar is not made by the body but it contributes to diabetes if you eat too much. Johnny Walker Red is not made by the body but it will eventually mess up you liver.
