Internal ultrasound to check for thyroid condition?

Yesterday morning I had an internal ultrasound where the doctor placed a camera into my vagina to see if I had a thyroid condition before putting my on the Pill. I experienced discomfort during the exam as she was moving the camera around.

Last night, I had severe pain in my pelvic area and this morning, I started bleeding as if I were getting my period. My period just ended last monday so I know it’s not actually my period.

I did however take the Plan B pill on Tuesday after having sex.

What could be the cause of this bleeding? Could it be from the exam or a side effect of Plan B?

  • For one you cannot check Thyroid like that (its in the neck). Probably did a tranvaginal ultrasound

  • the camera was probably hitting your cervix which is why you had the pain later on. and as for the blood, idk. did she break your hymen?
