Bipolar or PMDD? Natural Remedies?

How do you know if you have PMDD or bi polar disorder? I’ve assumed I suffer from PMDD but after reading that it should ease up for like 10 days a month I’m thinking I am wrong.

Here are SOME of my symptoms. The past 2 days I’ve been happy and loving and talking a million miles an hour, and I want to do this and do that. BUT my mood SWINGS like you woulnd’t believe. I snap and snap often with rage and anger. I snapped this morning and then an hour later I was a sweet loving wife again.

I can tell when I’m having my "good times" and "bad times". About 8 days ago I was so out of control I got myself kicked out of an online sewing group and went out in a blaze of nasty emails and curse words.

I’ve read that people who are bipolar have mood swings that are UP or DOWN that last for a few months at a time, but my mood swings can last hours or days or weeks…

When I’m on birth control I feel "normal" and steady but I have no sex drive. My moods are getting HORRIBLE and worse. My husband got "fixed" last year so I’ve been of bc for a year and it’s been all going downhill.

I do my best for my kids, but I want them to have a calm sweet mom, not this impatient woman who can’t wait to get to her room and close her door.

Does anyone know what’s wrong with me??? Are there any SAFE NATURAL things I could try? I’m getting my sunshine, trying to sleep but some nights I just can’t. I just want to be normal.

I did see shrinks when I was 18 due to a suicide attempt. They would prescribe pills but my head would just pound, like I could feel exactly what part of my brain they were effecting. I stopped taking them. Then I got happy. I’ve been up and down & again just assumed I have PMDD and I gotta live with it.

  • go and get yourself fully assessed by a naturopath ……. get them to do testing for food allergies/intolerances and chemical sensitivities …….what you ingest and absorb through your skin and breath can have a vast impact on the way you think, the way you feel and your overall health and vitality ……. seriously, you can live a pain free drug free life if only you know precisely what chemicals and foods are upsetting your system …. it could be something as simple as lactose intolerance or an intolerance to processed sugar or wheat …… disorders from which people suffer due to intolerances to food or chemicals in their diets can cover almost the whole spectrum of physical and mental illnesses ….. an extraordinary concept but mind blowingly true……. do yourself a favor and go and get allergy tested.

    in the meantime, try to eat as much whole fresh foods that you prepare yourself that includes a wide range of leafy and green vegies, some low sugar fresh fruits like watermelon, cantalope, pears and strawberries, some lean meats and fishes, brown rice, organic nuts and seeds like almonds, brazil nuts and sunflower seeds and lots of fresh filtered water ………. feed your body from God’s table and wean yourself off any highly processed, packagedsludge that has little to no nutritional value anyway…….. first one that pops to mind would be processed sugar ……… i get wicked nasty mood swings and horrid headaches if i have anything containing processed sugar these days …. listen to how your body feels after you’ve eaten something ….. eat one thing at a time to start with and notice how you feel within a few hours of eating …….. some people (like me) can be so very intolerant to some foods that their brains fry and smash their vitailty within a few minutes ……….. if i eat eggs i’ll wake up the next morning looking like i’ve been king hit in both eyes and they’re all puffy and black ……….. and i’ll have the depressive day from merry hail……. listen to your body.
