How does cholesterol work?

Does bad cholesterol clog just the vessels near the heart? Or does it also clog those in the brain? If it clogs those in the brain then how it is possible to remove them? Is it true that exercise generates good cholesterol that takes away bad cholesterol in vessels?

Cholesterol is a vital lipid (fat) that is produced by the liver and helps the body function. Too much cholesterol in a body is unhealthy. High cholesterol levels make individuals more prone to diseases, such as heart attack, stroke, atherosclerosis and angina.
Atherosclerosis is the narrowing of the arteries and angina is when the arteries in your heart narrow. High cholesterol can be caused by high fat diets, obesity, an inactive lifestyle, smoking and alcohol use. Finding a way to manage cholesterol is important for a person’s health.
    Take care always…….
