  • You got some nice answers:
soup, rest, vitamin C, hot tea with honey… these are all good.

The best thing I know of sounds gross but it works better than anything else ever and I’ve tried loads remedies. Flushing your sinuses with warm salt water will clear things up faster than anything else. Here are a couple of links to explain how this works:

If your throat hurts, gargling with salt water is also good. Hot water with some lemon (and honey) is nice to drink and good for you. Mostly you need rest and to drink fluids since that will flush your body of the toxins that are making you sick.

Antibiotics are only used for bacterial infections and the flu is viral. There are some good cold remedies on the market, you just need to experiment with what works for your body. I do use one specific kind when I need to and I always do the nasal flush since I learned about it. It really makes a difference.

    Feel good. <3

  • take some vitamin C! 🙂 drink juice and get some rest. sleep and dream and have some soup

  • im not joking when i say i heard this… but i was listening to the radio one day and they said a cure for the cold was to stick your left toe in cold water… you may have to research that… but who knows it could work.

when you have a flu, you take antibiotics, when you have a cold, you take aspirin/advil.

DRINK WATER AND GREEN TEA AND ADD SOME HONEY INTO YOUR GREEN TEA TO CLEAR YOUR THROAT IF YOU ARE COUGHING… because honey coats your throat and eases coughing.

    get well!

I always get some lemon grass, or hot and sour soup and ask for it extra spicy. The soup is soothing, and the heat from the extra peppers trigger your nose to drain a good bit. That coupled with a dose of Vitamin C caplets always makes me feel a lot better.

  • Tea with honey..no milk..and a dash of apple cider vinegar if you have it.

Vicks vapo rub..if you have it..rub it on your chest.

Get in bed..cover up..sweat it out..

    It works..

  • I find eating foods that are rich in vitamin c will help ease some of the symptoms.

  • Drink plenty of liquid i.e. juices, water, stay in bed and keep very warm to the point of being hot like provoking fever that so you get it out of your body then it takes no more than 2 days.
    Good luck to you.
