-Safe way to clean out your colon? Health professionals?

VERY skeptical about this. But have had some symptoms.
My biggest thing is what do you eat after-wards. Fiber okay(more detailed exactly what)
No meats(red) okay
What about Lobster,Shrimp, Fish (Tilapiaa)

Raw veggies and fruits -Okay EXACTLY what Veggies and EXACTLY what fruits..

  • I’ll take a shot. Fiber is a very widely encompassing which is probably why you’re confused… but literally any of it would work. Grains, breads, pastas, cereals, chips, crackers, bran, etc. For most of those, the most ideal for a cleanse would be those with the least fats and sugars, but I personally couldn’t eat some of them without some flavoring. 😉

    White meats are debatable depending on who you ask, but all proteins take longer to digest and theoretically have more possibility of sitting in the gut longer. Some say to just avoid all protein for the day or two of colon cleansing and stick with only fiber, but that’s really only required if you’re doing a major and short-term cleanse for a colonoscopy or something like that. If you just want to keep your colon clean or you’re doing a long-term cleanse, oceanic food wouldn’t be bad for you (assuming you’re not allergic, obviously).

    Fruits and veggies? Literally all of them. There’s not a fruit or veggie I can think of that wouldn’t have sufficient fiber to help clean your colon. Obviously, not all fruits will have the same impact per piece… you’ll need a lot of grapes or blueberries to equal the fiber content of an apple or watermelon. 😉 Pick any and all fruits and veggies that you like and add them to your cleanse. As long as they are cleaned and are raw, you’re good. Apples, bananas, oranges, grapes, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, melons, corn, potatoes, carrots, celery, peas, lettuce, cabbage, etc, etc, ad nauseum. Any and all fruits and veggies are great sources of fiber and other nutrients. Good luck with your cleanse and I hope I helped!

  • I’m in the process of doing a colon cleanse now. I have purchase a great product from DR Natura that helps to clean your colon and detox your body. Whiling I am on the 30 day program I am eating fish,turkey and chicken only….no red meats. Raw and steamed veggies like carrots, spanish,kale basically anything green. And the fruits are mostly melons and berries.

    I will continue with this eating regimen after the cleaning.

    I make an all natural fruit juice blend every morning for breakfast and mix it with Flax seeds to get my fiber. It really taste great.

  • Colon cleansing is nothing but a DANGEROUS scam. Save you money. The only people who think colons need cleaning are the people selling the junk products.

  • You don’t need to clean out your colon. There’s no scientific evidence to support any of the claimed benefits, and the human lower intestine isn’t dirty to begin with. There aren’t any "plaques" of feces lodged in there, as anyone who’s performed an autopsy or intestinal surgery can tell you. The entire idea of the colon cleanse is based on "auto-intoxication", a long-discredited idea that originated in ancient Greece and Egypt.
