  • It’s not a "home remedy" but you can help acne caused by hormone fluctuation with an herb called Vitex. It’s available at health food stores in liquid extract or capsules. Works for guys or girls. Helps w/ moodiness, monthly headache, cramps and pimples. Take 3 capsules a day for that time of month, then one a day. Should see dramatic results in 30 days but some effect in just 3-5 days.

Clean your face with diluted cider vinegar. Eat raw fruits and veggies.

  • A very easy and cheap solution (the simplest is often the best):

    – put some toothpaste on the pimples. It will dry them away.

But until you eliminate the cause of stress by looking at things differently, and go back to a normal night’s sleep, the acne will keep coming back.

Eating very little sugar and fat is a must.

    Take good care of yourself!

  • big puffy shoes

    cut back on caffine.

wash your face twice a day. more if you do any sweaty activity.

  • In the short term, I’ve found that sugar paste (sugar with a little bit of water) can actually reduce the redness of individual blemishes. It’s counter-intuitive, I know, but I read it in a book I used to have and it really works. Just put some on problem areas over night, and you’ll find that although the blemishes may still be there, they will be smaller and less red.
